Yesterday we made a quick run to the store after Fatima’s hair wash. My old school aunt was against her leaving the house with her “nappy” hair. She threw on her favorite headband. A random brotha on the elevator said ” ooh, I love your hair!” She replied ” thank you! All I did was wash it!” lol, her father tells her all the time that he loves her hair but it did my heart good to have another black man appreciate it. #naturalhair #beautiful #fatima #locs (Taken with instagram)

Darn you Tumblr! I’d planned on restarting my locs but I’ve seen so many beautiful styles on here that I want to try. It’ll probably take a year to start them again after I cut em off. Hmph!
